Cellar: 8 – 10 YEARS (2026-2028)
ABV: 15%

Produced from a blend of 98% Shiraz and 2% Viognier sourced from the Lyndoch, Rowland Flat, Greenock, Moppa and Ebenezer districts of Barossa Valley. The wine was matured in a combination of new (50%) and old French barriques for a period of 30 months.

Super deep in colour featuring an impenetrable inky black core with a deep black dark red hue. A very potent nose sees powerful aromatics of ripe black cherries, liquorice, dark plums and hints of dark chocolate sail through the olfactory senses followed by traces of dried apricot, vanillin oak and spice. Decadently rich, big and voluptuously textured, the lavish fruit largely obscures a firm tannin base. Saturating the palate are mouthfilling flavours of black plums, liquorice, black cherries and dark chocolate which are underpinned by subtlety scorched vanillin oak, traces of earth and spicy dried clove elements. Outstanding power and concentration with a long spicy dark plum, liquorice, dark chocolate, lightly earthed vanillin oak and subtle dried clove aftertaste.
Cellar 8-10 years.
