The Muscat Cask Australian single malt whisky from Rutherglen’s Morris.
This has been matured in shaved and toasted ex-wine casks before finished in ex-muscat casks, the difference between the signature is that these are particularly old and soaked barrels. The muscat casks are at the heart of the Morris name, with the company being a leading name in Australian fortified wine since their inception in 1859.
Bottled at 46% in 700ml bottles, Muscat Barrels is a cask-driven whisky of big fortified sweetness.
