PX 100L Cask/Ex-Imperial Stout PX 250ml Cask
Peated Highwayman spirit aged in 2 x 100L 1st fill PX casks for over 3 years then tipped and married together. The whisky was then filled into a 250L PX cask that was used to age an imperial stout for a final maturation. It was then bottled unfiltered at a cask strength of 55%.
Dark chocolate Black Forrest cake with a hint of Brazil nuts on the nose, leading to a mocha and burnt toffee with hints of soft saltiness and sweet integrated smoke on the pallet.
Only 250 bottles produced.
