A 2005 Craigellachie distillation that filled four Bourbon barrels. In June 2019 Gordon & MacPhail bottled it up for the Connoisseurs Choice series, with a release of 1,314 bottles. Great review from Jim Murray below.
Other reviews… beautifully tangy citrus complements the salty tannins… mega salivating qualities as the barley is driven home by a controlled but intense oaky tailwind; so much sparky vanilla; salty and slightly sharp. Nothing dull at any point here… a very characterful Speyside malt of unusual depth to its high quality.
